Rod is a photographer and cameraman with 17 years’ experience producing sensational photography and video for a range of corporate, commercial, marketing and advertising clients. He works in and around Derbyshire and the Midlands, but is happy to travel anywhere on assignment. Rod regularly shoots car rallies in some of the most far-flung places around the world.

He has a degree in journalism and still works with many regional and national titles.

When shooting still or moving images, often at the same time, Rod’s goal is to find the narrative or story behind the picture. You’ll often find him lying on the floor in the thick-of-it, or climbing up high to get a better angle, so you won’t normally see him wearing a suit to work!

Would Definitely Recommend

By Peter Townsend, Sam Creative Limited

I would definitely recommend Rod Kirkpatrick RKP Photography, for commercial and industrial photography. We have commissioned Rod for many national projects covering London and the south east, through to Northampton, Shropshire and also locally in the East Midlands. We have always found the photography to be on brief and of the highest quality. Rod has keen eye for the story behind the picture and manages to capture stunning images time after time.

We have had 100% success rate of getting press, supported by Rod’s photos.

Ali Capper, Stock Farms

It’s not everyone who ‘gets’ what we are doing….Rod took no time to understand how the auction room works.

Henry Beeby, Goffs

We gained unprecedented coverage across many national papers. Rod is an expert at what makes a great picture story.

Molson Coors

Rod has made a radical difference to the way we achieve PR.

Peter Cook, MD, Roundstone's

Well what can I say. I have never worked with a photographer who works so tirelessly to get that killer shot, and to wring out every last opportunity from a shoot. Always looking for ‘the story’.
